Joseph R. Gosz (also known as "Joe" to friends, colleagues, and clients alike) founded The Gosz Professional Limited Company in 2007.  Prior to starting the firm, Joe was an associate attorney at several law firms in the Miami area.  During that time, he represented clients in general civil litigation, commercial litigation, criminal defense, insurance claims, regulatory matters, corporate matters, and general problem solving.



Joe's practice today consists primarily of civil litigation, corporate matters, and solving interesting and difficult problems of all kinds for his clients.  His varied experience in multiple practice areas greatly assists him in spotting issues and resolving them.  His clientele includes individuals and businesses from all over the world, with many based in the Caribbean.  For business clients, Joe has provided invaluable consulting services and legal advice at every stage of his corporate clients' existence.  As a result, he is equally able to assist start-ups and established companies with virtually any issues they face.  Joe also serves as outside general counsel for various companies that do business in Miami and around the world.



In his litigation practice Joe has represented religious institutions, banks, high net worth individuals, professional athletes, small businesses, and people from all walks of life.

 

In recognition of his qualifications, results, and leadership in the Miami legal community, Joe was granted membership in The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers for 2014 and 2015, named in the Global Directory of Who's Who as a Top Lawyer in 2015, and nominated in 2015 as one of the 10 Best Attorneys in Client Satisfaction in the State of Florida by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys.

Outside of the office and the courtroom, Joe enjoys almost any type of exercise, most sports, and reading.  It's easy to get his attention by starting a conversation about wristwatches.  He is an avid collector whose favorite brands include H. Moser & Cie., Ulysse Nardin, and De Bethune.  He also enjoys fine food and likes to think of himself as an accomplished cook.
